ASECAM and Caixa Popular renew business partnership agreement
Business association ASECAM and lender Caixa Popular have signed a new agreement to offer preferential financial terms to companies in the Camp de Morvedre district, their leaders announced.
The agreement, signed by ASECAM president Cristina Plumed and Caixa Popular general director Alicia Soler, aims to widen the range of financial services available to companies belonging to the regional business association. Caixa Popular will offer ASECAM members preferential terms for investment, liquidity and financial management, continuing a partnership the two organisations have held for more than twenty years.
Caixa Popular is a credit cooperative (a member-owned bank) based in Paterna, near Valencia, founded in 1978. It sets aside 10% of its net profits every year for a training and cooperative-promotion fund, a detail both organisations point to as proof of their commitment to social responsibility. The deal also includes joint outreach activities for businesses across Camp de Morvedre and reinforces ASECAM's push to give its members tools to stay competitive.
