Sagunto City Council has approved individual social benefits under the Employment and Social Inclusion Plan (PEIS) worth €6,114.70 for several families, covering basic food, housing and water/electricity costs. Some applications were denied for not meeting requirements, and one was withdrawn for missing documents.
Sagunto City Council has resolved the first August sub-round of the Employment and Social Inclusion Plan (PEIS) social assistance programme: it grants €9,045 in individual welfare payments for basic food, housing, medicine and children's summer care to several families, while denying or shelving other applications for unmet requirements or missing documents.
The Council initially approved, on 6 August 2026, an amendment to the ordinance governing the Non-Tax Public Patrimonial Charge (PPPNT) for Sagunto's water and sewerage service. The file is open for public review for 30 working days after publication in the Valencia provincial bulletin: residents can examine it and file objections at the Tax Management office (Camí Real 65) or via the municipal e-office.
The Local Government Board (JGL) approves the provisional assignment of group and coordinator modules of the School-Age Sports Programme (PDEE) 2026/2027, so the sports offering can be finalised and enrolment can open. The award includes the Balonmano Puerto de Sagunto and Atletismo Español Camp de Morvedre clubs, despite unfavourable reports from the instructing officer and the internal auditor (Interventor).
