The Local Government Board approved 2026 grants promoting gender equality and preventing gender-based violence. Several local associations (Amigas Supervivientes, fallas groups and others) will receive between €240 and €3,000 each, with a total authorized amount of €15,916.
Sagunto's Local Government Board (JGL) approved on 31/07/2026 International Development Cooperation grants (Line 2): €17,862.80 to Infancia Sin Fronteras (school project in Kabobi, Niger) and €28,500 to Fundación Agua de Coco (school for vulnerable children in Madagascar). Other applications were rejected.

The Local Government Board (session of 10/07/2026) publishes the subsidies granted to promote the social use of Valencian in 2026: five projects by local businesses and associations are funded (Farmàcia Llinares, Celia Peris Celda, La Tenda de Tot el Món and ATEMDI) and two applications are denied. Amounts and beneficiaries are in the PDF.
The Local Government Board awards the prize of the 2026 Local Commerce Promotion Campaign poster contest — €500 — to Alberto Soria Carrasco for the design and the slogan «Tu compra tiene poder» («Your purchase has power»). His poster will be the face of the municipal campaign supporting neighbourhood shops. The full agreement is in the attached PDF.

The Valencian Government has opened, ahead of 2026, grants under one set of regulatory rules with several lines: reading-promotion activities, purchase of library materials, and purchase of equipment for municipal public reading centres. It is an open call under competitive bidding, with €280,000 per line. Only non-profit entities may apply, not individuals. It reaches Sagunto through its local libraries and reading centres. The Valencian Government has opened grants for cultural activities promoting books and reading in bookshops. It is an open call under competitive bidding, with a total budget of €1,490,000. SMEs and self-employed people with economic activity may apply — that is, bookshops and sole traders in the sector, including in Sagunto. LABORA, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, has opened grants for training actions aimed at vocational qualification, under state regulatory rules. It is an open call under competitive bidding. It is applied for by non-profit entities (training centres and bodies), not by residents directly. For residents it means free training courses run by those entities. Amount, deadline and conditions are on the official page.
The First Vice-presidency and Department of Social Services, Equality and Housing has approved the rules for aid to provide housing solutions for people in situations of special vulnerability. It is an open call under competitive bidding, with a total budget of €8,102,600. It is applied for by non-profit entities that assist those people, not by residents individually.
