Summer transfer window opens in Tercera Federación with CD Acero most active locally
Clubs in Group VI of Spain's Tercera Federación (fifth tier) have begun making signings for 2026/27, with CD Acero leading local activity while Atlético Saguntino has yet to announce any moves.
The Tercera Federación — Spain's fifth tier of men's football, introduced in 2021-22 to replace the old Tercera División — has opened its summer transfer window ahead of the 2026/27 season. In Group VI, which covers clubs from the Sagunto area, CD Acero has been the busiest so far: the club has added Hugo Pérez and renewed contracts with Gyampoh, Yass, Jeremías Perotti and Pablo Oltra. Atlético Saguntino — who finished runners-up in Group VI last season but were knocked out in the playoff semi-finals by CF La Nucía, losing 4-1 on aggregate — have yet to confirm any arrivals, departures or renewals. Head coach Guillem Beltrán had already signed his own renewal before the window opened. Known locally as 'los Romanos', Atlético Saguntino plays home games at the Camp Nou de Morvedre, which holds around 2,000 supporters.
