Música al Port festival closes 18th edition with Sinatra tribute and pop-rock
A Frank Sinatra tribute on Friday and a pop-rock concert on Saturday, both at 11pm at the Antiguo Sanatorio Civic Centre in Puerto de Sagunto (coastal district), close the 18th edition of the Música al Port festival.
The former Sanatorio building in Puerto de Sagunto (coastal district), now a civic centre, is part of the industrial heritage of the garden-city built next to the port's old ironworks; this weekend it hosts the closing concerts of the municipal Música al Port festival, reaching its 18th edition in 2026. Sagunto City Council's Culture Department has scheduled two consecutive dates, both free and starting at 11pm: on Friday 24 July, the Mediterranean Jazz Orquestra will pay tribute to Frank Sinatra with the show 'Una vetlada amb Sinatra' (An evening with Sinatra); the following day, Saturday 25, the Coro Almudàfer choir takes the same stage for a pop-rock set backed by an instrumental group under the direction of Sergi Rajadell. With this finale, the festival wraps up several weeks of live music held across different spots in Sagunto over the summer.
