The Provincial Council of Valencia (Diputació de València) has completed a full rehabilitation of the Camí de les Valls, the main road linking the Vall de Segó villages to Sagunto, at a total cost of €532,000.

Five municipalities of the Vall de Segó — Faura, Benavites, Benifairó de les Valls, Quart de les Valls and Quartell — now have a renewed road connection to Sagunto following the provincial intervention. The route had suffered years of deterioration; the project, part of the Diputació de València's Programme for the Improvement of Roads of Territorial Interest running since 2020, addressed that backlog comprehensively. Works covered four areas: full resurfacing, drainage upgrades to cut flood risk, installation of reflective road studs, crash barriers and railings, and construction of drainage channels that widen the usable carriageway. As a technical innovation, the Diputació's roads team designed a pilot scheme of horizontal markings for cyclists, aimed at reducing friction with motor traffic on stretches heavily used for sport. The official handover was attended by representatives of Faura, Sagunto and Benifairó de les Valls councils. Agriculture Councillor Ana María Quesada described the project as key to improving mobility across Camp de Morvedre district. The Camino Viejo de Teruel is next in line under the programme, according to El Periódico de Aquí.
