CD Acero Calls General Assembly for 1 July at Puerto de Sagunto Civic Centre
Club Deportivo Acero has summoned its members to a general assembly on 1 July at 18:00 at the Centro Cívico del Puerto de Sagunto to discuss the club's finances, the 2026-27 sporting project and next year's budget.
The CD Acero board has called the ordinary general assembly for the current season. The meeting will be held on Wednesday 1 July at the Centro Cívico in Puerto de Sagunto, with a first call at 18:00 and a second at 18:30 if quorum is not met. The agenda covers three main points: a review of the club's current financial position, the sporting plan for the 2026-27 season, and approval of the budget for the coming year. Member attendance is considered essential to set the club's direction. CD Acero was founded in 1919 in Puerto de Sagunto as Sporting Club, established by Basque sailors who frequented the commercial port at the time; after the Spanish Civil War the club took its current name and the nickname Leones del Mediterráneo (Lions of the Mediterranean), playing its home matches at the Estadio Municipal El Fornás (capacity 5,002).
