The elrow Horroween festival will take over Sagunto's inter-nuclei space on Saturday 31 October, 14:00 to 02:00, with over 20,000 people expected. The council is boosting the city bus and will signpost routes for those not attending.

Anyone not going to the festival who needs to travel between Sagunto and Puerto de Sagunto (the coastal district) on Saturday 31 October must use Avenida de la Vila or Calle Albert Einstein. That is the request from Sagunto City Council to residents who will not attend elrow that day.

The two shopping areas have different access routes. For the west shopping area and the Municipal Sports Centre (Polideportivo Municipal), located in the inter-nuclei zone, the recommendation is to enter and leave from Sagunto or along Avenida de la Vila; the east shopping area is reached from Puerto de Sagunto. Routes will be signposted on the ground on the day itself, Saturday.

The elrow Horroween festival, the Halloween edition of elrow, will occupy the inter-nuclei space, between Sagunto and Puerto de Sagunto, from 14:00 to 02:00. There will be three stages and more than 20,000 people are expected. In its announcement of 25 August, the council itself spoke of more than 25,000 attendees; the October mobility note lowers the figure to more than 20,000 and does not explain the change.

Behind elrow is the Satorres-Durán-Arnau family, whose story links back to Café Josepet, opened in Fraga in 1870.

For those attending from Sagunto or Puerto de Sagunto, urban public transport will run a special service that day: line D will run every 20 minutes from 14:00 and Bus Nit, the night line, every 30. Anyone driving should leave the car in areas far from the venue, according to the municipal recommendation.

Attendees arriving from Valencia are advised above all to use the organisers' shuttle buses, which will have a large stop area near the festival. Those who prefer their own car, wherever they are coming from, should also park far from the venue. A taxi rank will also be set up close to it.

The operation involves the council's departments for Activities, Festivals and Popular Culture and for Public Space and Mobility, the Local Police and the public company SAG. The Local Police will deploy a large security and traffic-management operation throughout the day. Three festive organisations of the municipality have also collaborated: the Federations of Peñas of Sagunto and of Puerto de Sagunto and the Federació Junta Fallera de Sagunt.

The councillor for Public Space and Mobility, Javier Raro, described hosting an event of this scale as a big challenge for the municipality. He wants it to go well and to disturb other residents as little as possible, and so asked people to follow the signposted routes, use the public transport provided and enjoy the festival responsibly.
