Asecam and Caixa Popular renew financial support deal for local businesses
Business association Asecam and Caixa Popular bank have renewed their partnership agreement, giving Camp de Morvedre companies access to financing on preferential terms.
After more than two decades working side by side, business association Asecam and Caixa Popular bank have sealed a new collaboration agreement, aimed at opening up more financing options for member businesses. The deal was signed by Cristina Plumed, who leads the business association, and Alicia Soler, general director of the bank.
Asecam members and their staff will now be able to apply for loans and other banking products on better terms, designed to fund investment, cover cash-flow needs or support growth. Plumed said giving companies resources that boost their competitiveness is one of the association's priorities, while Soler noted that twenty years of shared work have built trust that is now shaping new commitments.
The new agreement also includes joint campaigns to open up new business opportunities and a shared commitment to sustainability and business ethics. Caixa Popular (a Valencian cooperative bank) started out in 1978 as a second-tier credit cooperative, bringing together Valencian cooperatives from the retail, housing and education sectors, and today counts business associations like Asecam among its natural partners.
