The regional Justice Department has put the construction of Sagunto's new judicial headquarters out to tender, with an investment of €37,009,485.44.

The Sagunto judicial district is number 7 in Valencia province and covers sixteen municipalities, with Sagunto as its head town: a combined population of about 93,374 people spread across 271.3 square kilometres and organised into six judicial units. The tendered works will provide this district with a new headquarters that brings together services currently spread across several court buildings in the town. The €37,009,485.44 investment comes from the Valencian regional government's Justice, Transparency and Participation Department, as part of its plan to modernise judicial infrastructure across the province. The project comes amid demographic and industrial growth in Sagunto, driven by developments such as PowerCo's battery gigafactory. It is one of the largest recent regional investments in judicial infrastructure in Valencia province, and will benefit residents across the sixteen municipalities that make up the judicial district.
