Sagunto tourism unveils new videos and digital campaign with EU funds
Sagunto's tourism department has produced new videos, infographics and social media content promoting the town as a sustainable destination, funded by EU Next Generation grants.
The new materials, adapted for video platforms and social media, aim to showcase the town's cultural and natural heritage to different types of visitors through themed digital campaigns. The project is part of the local Sustainable Tourism Plan (PSTD) and Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the national programme that channels €69.5 billion in EU grants across four priority areas, including digital transformation - the exact category this campaign falls under. It includes communication about the tourism plan's progress, initiatives to promote sustainable tourism among residents, and monitoring of results through tracking indicators. The city council hopes the content will strengthen Sagunto's profile as a tourism destination, drawing on its historic and natural heritage to attract visitors through both online and offline channels.
