Sagunto launches free Música al Port summer festival for its 18th edition
Mayor Darío Moreno and Culture Councillor Ana María Quesada presented the Música al Port festival, which will offer six free concerts in Puerto de Sagunto (coastal district) between 4 and 25 July 2026.
Sagunto City Council has unveiled the full programme for the 18th edition of Música al Port, a free open-air music festival running from 4 to 25 July. The line-up spans six evenings and a broad range of musical styles.
Highlights include the opening night with UMP/Aescena on 4 July, followed by Lira Saguntina on 10 July, a 1960s music tribute on 17 July at the Begoña school courtyard, and a qualifying round for the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas on 18 July — a nationally recognised flamenco competition held in La Unión, Murcia, since 1961 and declared a festival of national tourist interest. The series closes with a Mediterranean jazz and Frank Sinatra tribute evening on 24 July and a performance by the Coro Almudáfer choir on 25 July.
The festival remains one of the most established free summer cultural events in the Puerto de Sagunto area. According to elperiodic.com.
