Canet d'En Berenguer scores just 10.87% in Dyntra transparency index
The independent Dyntra platform has given Canet d'En Berenguer's local council only 10.87% in its municipal transparency index, with four key categories scoring zero.
Canet d'En Berenguer's town hall passes just 20 of the 184 indicators in Dyntra's DAM transparency index and ranks 596th nationally. The blocks covering financial transparency, public procurement, urban planning and open data are all at 0%: no contracts, planning documents, financial statistics or reusable data are published online.
Launched in 2014, Dyntra operates as a civic-audit platform whose network now spans well over 4,400 assessed organisations across more than 190 countries, with roughly 2,800 registered reviewers; Telefónica and Compromiso Empresarial magazine recognised it among the world's top ten transparency practices in 2017. Of the six evaluation blocks in the methodology, only citizen participation (28.21%) and basic municipal transparency (13.64%) show any recorded activity in Canet; the remaining four are entirely empty. According to El Periódico de Aquí, the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (Agència Valenciana Antifrau) has additional investigations open involving the council.
