BM Morvedre's cadet girls take on the national Top 8 with spirit and unity
Handball club BM Morvedre (Sagunto) has kicked off its campaign at the Spanish Female Cadet Championship Top 8 in Valladolid, backed by months of collective work and a determination to make an impression.
Sporting director José Bonet of BM Morvedre highlighted the journey taken by the female cadet team before the national Top 8 tournament began: months of quiet effort and group growth that have carried these players into the top eight in Spain. Head coach Mari Gómez describes the team's identity as built on bravery, discipline and a cohesion that turns every match into a statement of intent. For the Sagunto-based club, the Top 8 is not a finishing line but an opportunity to enjoy the game, keep improving and show what this group is made of. The club's message closed with an explicit word of thanks to all the supporters who believe in the project. The club has a track record of exceptional runs: in the 2017-18 season, BM Morvedre won promotion from División de Honor Plata without losing a single match, completing a run of 31 consecutive unbeaten games. Sagunto can be proud to have a female youth programme competing at the highest national level. According to the club's official Facebook page.
