The full council meets on Thursday 4 June at 17:00 with 21 items on the agenda and will be livestreamed on YouTube and social media.

Sagunto City Council will hold its June ordinary plenary session on Thursday 4 June at 17:00 at the council chamber. Key agenda items include the renewal of the municipal school council, amendments to subsidy agreements with the Sociedad Musical Lira Saguntina and the Unión Musical Porteña, a grant application to digitalise the water management cycle, a new forest interface map and revision of the Local Burns Plan, and a new ordinance on urban public transport fares.

Among the political motions are an institutional declaration for LGTBIQ+ Pride Day 2026, a motion backing Valencian public school teachers, PP proposals on affordable housing and maintenance of the Pabellón José Veral sports hall, and an initiative to improve beach access between Canet d'En Berenguer and Puerto de Sagunto (coastal district). Compromís per Sagunt has submitted a motion for the protection of the Sagunto Castle mountain — declared a historic-artistic monument in 1931 and listed as a Bien de Interés Cultural (heritage asset), with some 800 metres of ramparts divided into seven historic enclosures.

The session will be livestreamed on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and X. Details at aytosagunto.es.
