Complaint: Quart de les Valls school pupils have spent years in temporary classrooms
Lara González has denounced that pupils at the school in Quart de les Valls (Camp de Morvedre comarca) have spent years in prefabricated temporary classrooms while the community pays for duplicate infrastructure.
According to a statement by Lara González, the school in Quart de les Valls has been using prefabricated temporary classrooms — known as barracones — for several years, with no permanent solution in sight. González argues that the local community is effectively paying twice: for the maintenance of the temporary structures and for the planned permanent building, while receiving a below-average quality of service. Quart de les Valls is a small municipality in Camp de Morvedre comarca with around 1,029 residents and an area of 8.4 km², falling within the judicial district of Sagunto. The complaint reflects a wider debate about the Valencian Government's investment in education infrastructure in the smaller municipalities of Camp de Morvedre. According to El Periódico de Aquí, the statement was made by the spokesperson named.
