Camp de Morvedre district job fair lands at Casal Jove on 3 June
Puerto de Sagunto's Casal Jove will open its doors on Wednesday 3 June, in the morning slot, to host the second edition of the district employment fair, with more than thirty confirmed vacancies.
The venue will gather, over that morning, employers, trade unions, training bodies and active job-seekers in a single meeting point. Raúl Palmero, the city's Economic Promotion councillor, placed validated registrations above two hundred and submitted applications at around one hundred and eighty — numbers that may still climb before deadlines run out (22 May for companies, 31 May for applicants). Sagunto Mayor Darío Moreno encouraged residents to join in and stressed that this type of meeting lets the council read first-hand what the local economy actually needs. There will be guidance areas, a session to get a CV photo taken on site and four talks, with companies such as PowerCo, MediaMarkt, Aldi, Grupo Elecnor and Grupo Crit among those confirmed. It all runs out of the 'Som Comarca' Territorial Employment Pact, which gathers Sagunto and Canet d'En Berenguer, the La Baronía and Les Valls associations of municipalities and ASECAM, CEV, FACOSA, ASCOSA, UGT and CC. OO. The Camp de Morvedre district counts 102,642 inhabitants across 16 municipalities, with Sagunto as its capital (Wikipedia). Information published by the Sagunto City Council.
