Generalitat grants ASECAM 40,180 euros for regional reindustrialisation
The Valencian regional government's Conselleria de Industria has awarded a grant of 40,180.01 euros to ASECAM, the Camp de Morvedre business association based in Sagunto, to support reindustrialisation in the district.
The Conselleria de Industria, Turismo, Innovación y Comercio (the Valencian regional department for industry, tourism, innovation and trade) has granted a subsidy of 40,180.01 euros to the Asociación Empresarial del Camp de Morvedre (ASECAM), the district's business association, based at the Ingruinsa industrial estate in Sagunto. The funding is earmarked for a programme of actions aimed at boosting reindustrialisation both across the Valencian Community and, specifically, in the Camp de Morvedre district.
According to the association, the funds will be spent throughout 2026 on a range of initiatives for member companies: training sessions, networking activities among businesses in the area, sustainability-promotion actions, and the organisation of the Congreso Camp de Morvedre: Territorio de Talento (Camp de Morvedre Talent Territory Congress), among other planned activities for the year.
ASECAM describes its core purpose as representing and defending the general and shared interests of employers in the district, a role that makes it a regular go-between linking local businesses with regional and municipal authorities in processes like this one, securing public funding for reindustrialisation.
The grant is part of a recurring line of collaboration between the regional department and the business association: the association's own records show a similar grant awarded in 2024 with the same goal of boosting the district, suggesting an ongoing commitment from the regional government to support the Camp de Morvedre's business network as a channel for reindustrialisation funding.
