Comedian Nadia Guillamón brings everyday humour to Canet's Terraza Gauthier
In Canet d'En Berenguer, a municipality neighbouring Sagunto within the Camp de Morvedre district, Valencian comedian Nadia Guillamón filled the Terraza Gauthier Comedy venue on 16 July with a show built around everyday-life humour.
The venue, on the Canet d'En Berenguer seafront, was full throughout the show, drawing local residents, summer visitors and fans who travelled specifically to see her. Guillamón built her set around domestic, everyday situations — parenting, family routines, the small contradictions of adult life — with a warm tone that aimed for recognition rather than mockery. The audience responded with visible complicity, nodding along to anecdotes they recognised from their own lives.
The Terraza Gauthier Comedy venue has become a reference point for comedy on the Camp de Morvedre coast in recent summers, booking both emerging voices and established names from the Valencian comedy circuit. For residents of the district, the show confirms that quality cultural programming close to home is not limited to Sagunto itself but is also growing in neighbouring coastal towns.
