Two Camp de Morvedre Towns Face Two-Hour Power Cuts on 7 and 8 July
Canet d'En Berenguer and Gilet host grid upgrade work by i-DE this week; only specific streets in each town are affected.
Two planned grid interventions are scheduled in Camp de Morvedre this week. On Tuesday 7 July, residents of Oriente and Papa del Mar — the seafront strip of Canet d'En Berenguer — will have no electricity between 12:00 and 14:00. Twenty-four hours later, on Wednesday 8, the work moves to Gilet: the Santo Espíritu residential area goes without supply from 10:00 to 12:00 across Alboraya, Canet and Vinalesa streets.
Both jobs are part of an infrastructure renewal programme run by i-DE, Iberdrola's distribution subsidiary for the Valencian Community. The company specifies that the outage is limited to those blocks; the rest of Canet and Gilet is unaffected.
