Man, 62, dies after being found unconscious in a vehicle near Sagunto
Emergency services were alerted at 12:06 on Friday and dispatched a SAMU unit, which performed CPR at the scene on the CV-309 road near Sagunto but could not save the man.
A 62-year-old man died on Friday on the CV-309 road as it passes through Sagunto, close to the PowerCo battery gigafactory. He was found unconscious inside a vehicle by a worker in the area. The emergency coordination centre (CICU — Centro de Información y Coordinación de Urgencias) received the alert at 12:06 and immediately sent a SAMU (emergency medical unit) team.
Paramedics carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation for several minutes but were unable to save him. His death was confirmed at the scene. The Civil Guard (Guardia Civil), which took charge of the case, told news agency EFE that the death does not appear to be violent and that natural causes are suspected.
