Puçol Beach Health Clinic to Open Year-Round Instead of Summers Only

The Valencian Health Minister announced that Puçol's coastal clinic will operate every day of the year, part of a regional plan deploying 25 beach health posts across the Valencian Community.

Puçol's beach auxiliary clinic is switching from a seasonal model to a full-time, year-round service. Health Minister Marciano Gómez made the announcement on 2 July during a visit to the facility alongside mayor Paz Carceller. The Regional Health Ministry attributes the change to the growing permanent residential population along Puçol's seafront, a town of around 21,600 residents.

The same minister is rolling out 25 coastal clinics across the Valencian Community for summer 2026, backed by 85 million euros in regional funding. This scheme spans the coastline shared between Camp de Morvedre and l'Horta Nord: the summer health reinforcement planned for Sagunto's comarca falls under the same programme that is now making Puçol's clinic permanent. The Puçol decision sets a regional precedent for neighbouring seaside municipalities, including those on the northern coast of Camp de Morvedre. According to elperiodicodeaqui.com.
