The contemporary dance showcase holds its seventh edition in Faura (Camp de Morvedre) from 28 June to 12 July under the theme 'Cohabitar' (Living Together).

A small town in the Camp de Morvedre district is once again drawing international contemporary dance talent. Faura, with just 3,753 residents and an area of only 1.6 km², hosts the seventh edition of Habitar mostra de dansa from 28 June to 12 July — a festival that has been connecting the region to the global arts scene since 2020.

This year's theme is 'Cohabitar' (Living Together), exploring different forms of coexistence through performance arts, with the body, territory and community as guiding threads. Artists travel from Brazil, the United States, Argentina, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Catalonia, the Community of Madrid and the Valencian Community.

The opening programme features Margô Assis, Eugênio Paccelli Horta and Renata Ferreira, who will present an artistic residency and urban interventions. The schedule also includes open workshops, a gathering of traditional Valencian dances with the Rondalla Arnadí ensemble, and a professional training workshop for performing arts practitioners.

The festival is backed by Faura's city council and the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC — the Valencian Government's arts agency). Reported by elperiodicodeaqui.com.
