Sagunto joins the first Inclusive Employment Meeting organised by Inserta Empleo
Sagunto City Council's Economic Promotion department attended the first Inclusive Employment Meeting on Tuesday, a flagship regional event organised by Inserta Empleo alongside ONCE and ILUNION at the Hotel ILUNION Valencia 4.
Sagunto's economic promotion team attended the inaugural Encuentro de Empleo Inclusivo on Tuesday, a gathering convened by Inserta Empleo with backing from ONCE and ILUNION to bring the labour market closer to people with disabilities. The day drew representatives from public administrations, businesses and third-sector organisations around a shared goal: widening access to quality, diverse employment.
Councillor Raúl Palmero stressed that integrating workers with disabilities ranks among the council's core commitments, and that only genuine coordination between the public sector, business and civil society can translate into real job openings. The programme featured a session by attitude-and-leadership specialist Fabián Villena and a peer-exchange workshop for participating organisations.
The municipal department has grown in regional standing on inclusion policy, building joint projects with partners across Camp de Morvedre district. Inserta Empleo, the Fundación ONCE's job-placement and guidance arm, receives European Union co-funding (Inserta Empleo).
