Sagunto’s Fallas Federation puts the 2027 official Fallera dresses out to tender
The Sagunto Fallas Federation has opened the period to submit proposals for making the 2027 official dresses of the Fallera Mayor and her Court of Honour.
The Sagunto Fallas Federation (FJFS) has launched the process to commission the official outfits that the federation’s Fallera Mayor and her Court of Honour will wear during the 2027 term. The body has opened a period for submitting proposals aimed at professionals in the sector and has published the document with the tender conditions, which can be viewed and downloaded on its website. The call covers the traditional Valencian garments worn by the leading figures of the Camp de Morvedre Fallas world at official events. The fallera dress, the so-called vestit de valenciana, has its roots in 16th-century farmworkers’ clothing and includes silks, hairstyles with ornamental combs and traditional jewellery, at a cost that can range from 2,000 to more than 20,000 euros per outfit (Wikipedia).
