The National Police have arrested a man from Sagunto and a woman from Valencia over a €49,630 scam; the victim got the money back. A third suspect's whereabouts are unknown.
Sagunto and the northern coast of Valencia province will be under an orange storm alert all day on Sunday 18 October, with up to 40 mm of rain in an hour.
In 2027 the waste treatment bill in the Camp de Morvedre district, Sagunto included, will be 106.29 euros: 13.32 more than now. The Palancia Belcaire Consortium approved it on 16 October; the PSPV wants alternatives.
The Industrial and Workers' Memory Museum of Puerto de Sagunto opened on 15 October 2026 in the 1927 warehouse of the former steelworks. It has three floors and free entry until 31 December.
