Sagunto urges the regional ministry to tender the new Courthouse works "immediately"
The City Council plenary agreed to demand from the Conselleria a public, clear and binding timetable for carrying out the new Courthouse works.
Sagunto City Council has asked the Conselleria (the regional ministry) to put the works for the city's planned new Courthouse out to tender without further delay. The request was set out in a City Council plenary agreement, which also calls for a public, clear and binding timetable for completing the works. With that roadmap the council aims to bring certainty to a long-awaited project and avoid fresh delays to a facility that directly affects judicial services in the town and across the Camp de Morvedre district. The new building is expected to improve public service conditions and to consolidate services that are currently spread across different premises. The plenary agreement puts pressure on the Valencian Government to activate the pending administrative procedures. This information was released by Valencia Plaza.
