Gotion's entry, with 49% of the joint company, raises the initial capacity of PowerCo's gigafactory in Sagunto to 30 GW a year, enough for cells for over 300,000 vehicles, with start-up delayed to 2027.

The Sagunto court, which serves the Camp de Morvedre district, has received a complaint over a Canet d'en Berenguer civil servant's move from grade C1 to A1. The town hall says the process was lawful.
